CLIENT GOALS
The clients wished to modernise a previously cramped loft bathroom, turning it into a sanctuary that felt both airy and luxurious. Their brief centred on clean lines, natural textures, and a soothing atmosphere where they could unwind at the end of each day.
THE EXISTING CONDITIONS
The original space had low visual impact and an awkward layout that failed to take advantage of the generous ceiling height at the apex. Outdated fixtures, limited storage, and dim lighting contributed to a room that felt smaller than it was.
THE PLAN
Our design approach focused on openness and light. We repositioned the sanitary ware to create a clear visual axis from the doorway to the feature wall, introduced a freestanding bath to anchor the room, and selected large‑format tiles to enhance the sense of scale. Layered lighting—task, ambient, and accent—adds depth while highlighting key design elements.
Freestanding Bath Centrepiece
DESIGN & AESTHETIC
The elegantly curved bath sits slightly raised to draw the eye and to define a dedicated bathing zone. The soft silhouette contrasts beautifully with the crisp geometry of the surrounding tile work, creating a harmonious focal point.
FUNCTION & AMBIANCE
Positioned beneath the roof apex, the bath enjoys generous headroom and a feeling of expansiveness. A wall‑mounted filler keeps the deck clutter‑free, while nearby niches ensure bathing essentials remain within easy reach.

Walk‑In Rainfall Shower
DESIGN & AESTHETIC
A minimal glass screen and ceiling‑mounted rainfall head give the shower a seamless presence. The half‑height partition clad in textured tile doubles as a ledge, topped with greenery to soften the stone palette.
FUNCTION & AMBIANCE
The open entry affords effortless access, vital for long‑term usability. An LED‑lit recessed shelf provides subtle illumination and practical storage, allowing toiletries to be displayed neatly without interrupting the clean lines of the wall.
