CLIENT GOALS

Our clients sought to transform their dated bathroom into a contemporary, luxurious space that exudes tranquillity and modern elegance. They envisioned a clean, minimalist design with high-end fixtures, a freestanding bathtub, and a sleek overall aesthetic. Their goal was to create a spa-like retreat within their home, emphasizing both functionality and sophisticated style.

THE EXISTING CONDITIONS

The original bathroom was functional but lacked the modern amenities and aesthetic appeal the clients desired. The layout was not optimized for space, and the fixtures were outdated. The room needed a complete overhaul to achieve the sleek, modern look the clients envisioned.

THE PLAN

We developed a renovation plan that focused on creating a spacious, light-filled environment with modern fixtures and a minimalist design. The plan included the installation of a freestanding bathtub, a sleek pedestal basin, and modern black fixtures to add contrast and sophistication. The layout was optimized to maximize the sense of space and enhance the flow of the room.

The basin and mirror are central to the bathroom’s modern, minimalist design.

DESIGN & AESTHETIC

The pedestal basin features a sleek, minimalist design that complements the overall aesthetic of the bathroom. Its clean lines and white finish create a sense of elegance and simplicity. The round mirror above the basin adds a modern touch, with a frameless design that enhances the minimalist look.

FUNCTION & AMBIANCE

The basin offers both style and functionality, with a spacious design that provides ample space for daily use. The mirror reflects natural light from the window, enhancing the brightness and openness of the room. Together, the basin and mirror create a focal point in the bathroom, blending functionality with modern design to elevate the space.

BATH AREA

The bath area is designed to be the highlight of the bathroom, offering a luxurious and relaxing experience.

DESIGN & AESTHETIC

The centrepiece of the bath area is the freestanding bathtub, which exudes elegance and sophistication. Its sleek, curved design adds a touch of luxury to the space. The modern black fixtures provide a striking contrast against the white bathtub, enhancing the overall aesthetic.

FUNCTION & AMBIANCE

The freestanding bathtub is designed for relaxation and comfort, providing a perfect spot for unwinding. The large window allows natural light to flood the space, creating a bright and airy atmosphere. The combination of modern design elements and practical features makes the bath area a key highlight of the bathroom, offering a tranquil retreat within the home.

OVERALL DESIGN

The bathroom renovation successfully transformed the space into a modern, elegant retreat. The use of large-format grey tiles on the floor and walls creates a cohesive, sophisticated look. The minimalist design, combined with high-end fixtures and thoughtful layout, enhances the sense of space and openness. Work Included

Using the allure of grey-marbled wall tiles and floor tiles, this bathroom remodel exudes sophistication and modernity. The grey tones effortlessly blend with the overall black-and-white theme, creating a harmonious atmosphere in this Irish bathroom.

I would highly recommend Aidan Kelly Construction. Aidan and his team completed a challenging bathroom renovation in my home, to the highest standard and under a tough timeline. The bathroom was completely stripped and everything was replaced; plumbing, wiring, water heater, sanitary wear, floor and wall tiling, ceiling. No issue or request was a problem e.g. putting up wall tiles in herringbone pattern or the quartz bathroom vanity top arriving not cut for the sink! I love my new bathroom.
